Welcome to my site! I created this page to share a number of things that I worked hard on and that I think others will enjoy. The site is split into five parts, and you can navigate to those sections using the words in the header above. Here's a brief description of what you can expect on each page:
Here I have information about my novels, including articles about them which you will not see anywhere else but here. Not only can you learn about my stories here, I also provide additional insight into their creation.
Here I write about those things that interest me. Topics will range from the iPad, to the video game industry, to my favorite bands, and to current events that I feel compelled to comment upon. In these write-ups I am trying to take a thoughtful approach to the issue at hand, and will inject humor into the proceedings from time to time.
Odds N' Ends
This is a repository for things I have created and am sharing with the world. Many of them are . . . well they're a bit odd. Some I look back upon and wonder why on earth I spent any time on them, but I did, and here they are. Topics include things from Transformers, Band Song Lists, and other off the wall stuff. I go a little nuts here, and hopefully you will find that entertaining.
You know, it's not always about me. So here I give some space to others who are looking to post their ideas on the net for all to see. I won't always agree with what is said here, but I'll only post entries that give food for thought.
Biography and Interests
Jeffrey Lawrence Moss was born in Sacramento, California where he lived in the same house for 23 years and attained his undergraduate degree in business and accounting from California State University, Sacramento. During this time he was actively involved in a number of writing groups, including serving a term as the Vice President of Sacramento Suburban Writers.
He left the Sacramento area to follow his career in healthcare, moving to the bay area where he remains to this day in Martinez, California. He attained his MBA from Saint Mary's College, graduating first in class. During the celebration cruise, he began sketching ideas for his epic fantasy trilogy, Pieces of the Empire, which took roughly a decade to complete. All the while, he found and married a pretty girl named Geneva, and they bore a son named Bridon.
Today Jeffrey is continuing his profession in financial services for a large healthcare organization, and is continuing to write and publish his works in his spare time.
Aside from the job, writing, and the family, Jeffrey's interests include Transformers from the '80s, Legos, the Arsenal Football Club (he's seen them play in Highbury / Emerites three times!), video games (he owns a PS3), iPads, reading, a study of medieval times in Europe, the band Genesis, the band Rush, Midnight Oil, the Aquabats, creating things in Excel, and a bunch of other stuff along those lines. He is also becoming a minor health nut, merging technology with weight loss/maintenance. Ask him how it's going!
